A flat plate cut from the highest-grade porcelain clay, carrying kiriko-style shippō-tsunagi (interlocking circles) carved into its face. Held to the light, the relief becomes translucent — the signature gesture of the HINOMIYA series. A collaboration between Shota Miyashita and Hijiri Tougane: pressure casting from the world of production, met by ornament drawn in the artist's 3D-data hand.

Free shipping on orders over ¥20,000 (tax included).
§ Care
When using metal cutlery, faint pencil-like grey marks (so-called "metal marks") may appear on the surface of the ware. This does not affect the quality of the piece. We recommend a melamine sponge or citric acid for cleaning. Never use in an oven or over an open flame.

Each piece is made entirely by hand, and the formation of glaze crystals and surface scenery — along with size, color, expression, texture, and tonal density — varies from piece to piece. These individual differences are the very charm of handwork and are not grounds for return. Returns are not accepted except in the case of defects.

The "shippō-tsunagi" (interlocking circles) is an auspicious pattern symbolizing relationships and harmony between people. The HINOMIYA series uses Japan's finest porcelain clay, with kiriko-style carving rendered through pressure casting and 3D data technology. Fired pure and meticulously polished, the carving allows light to pass through.
