Additional Charges

Domestic shipping is calculated by Yamato Transport regional rates (from JPY 700 within Honshu; surcharges apply for Tohoku, Hokkaido, Kyushu and Okinawa, and for larger parcels). Free shipping on orders of JPY 20,000 or more (tax included). International shipping (Yamato International / EMS) is also available. Convenience store / Pay-easy / bank transfer payments may incur a separate processing fee (shown at checkout).

Time of Payment

Credit cards and instant wallets are charged at checkout. Convenience store and bank transfer payments must be completed within the period shown on the issued payment slip.

Delivery / Lead Time

After your order and payment have been confirmed, we will ship according to the following guidelines. In-stock items: shipped within 5 business days of order confirmation. Made-to-order items: shipped within approximately 6–8 weeks at most, depending on production status. The estimated dispatch date will be confirmed separately by email.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Except in cases of defective products, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for customer-side reasons. Due to the nature of handcrafted ceramic works, individual variations in glaze, color, size, and form are not considered defects. If your item arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us at the email address above within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Return Shipping Costs

In the case of an initial defect or transit damage, ART BIRTH Inc. covers the return shipping cost. For returns due to customer-side reasons, the customer bears the return shipping cost.
